Stanley R. Adkins, MD Partner & Medical Director Dr. Adkins completed his studies at Indiana University Medical School, serving as internal medicine resident at Methodist Hospital (Indianapolis). He served with the US Air Force and later was co-founder and president of Columbus Internal Medicine Associates (Columbus, Indiana). Dr. Adkins has lectured extensively on computer applications in medicine (University of Chicago and University of California). Dr. Adkins is a past Vice-President of the American Heart Association. He has served as Chief of Staff at Columbus Regional Hospital, President of the Indiana Affiliate of the American Heart Association, Regional President of the American Heart Association, and national Vice-President of the American Heart Association. He has instructed more than 800 health care providers in the American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support program. He is on the medical staff of Community Hospital South, St. Francis Hospital, and St. Vincent Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Adkins enjoys bicycling, scuba diving, photography, music, skiing, and Amateur Radio. He is a pilot and enjoys flying. Dr. Adkins lives with his family in Indianapolis, Indiana. Arthur S. Potter Partner & Director of Operations Arthur was reared on a ranch in West Central Nebraska. After graduating from high school, Arthur entered the military and left for California to start his schooling. He continued his education attending schools in Florida, Washington D.C., and finally Spain where he was introduced to flying and photography while attached to a Photo Intelligence Squadron. In Spain, Arthur attended the University of Madrid and earned his degree in Marketing and Management He holds a current pilot license and enjoys flying, boating, jet skis, and music, as both a singer and instrumentalist. Arthur is a sought-after public speaker and enjoys traveling. He lives in Indianapolis and enjoys playing guitar, reading, and especially spending time with his daughter and granddaughter. Tera - Technician A native of Greenwood, Indiana, Tera is a Certified Counter Pulsation Technician. In addition to her work, which she loves, her other interests include reading, music, soccer, and her family. Tera and her family live in Greenwood. Pam - Practice Administrator Also a southsider, Pam was reared in nearby Whiteland. She has been working in the medical field as a Medical Assistant for fifteen years and serves as the Practice Administrator for the Adkins and Hull Medical Groups. Pam is also completing a degree in Organizational Leadership at the University of Indianapolis. She has worked with counterpulsation for more than five years. In her spare time, Pam is a private pilot and a certified scuba diver. She also enjoys "everything green" in the out-of-doors. Pam lives in Indianapolis with her husband and loves spending time with her three children and grandchildren. Mindy - Medical Assistant Mindy has been in the medical field as a Medical Assistant for ten years and is currently pursuing her RN degree. She has been working with counterpulsation for more than five years. Mindy lives in Greenwood with her husband and two daughters. Her fun activities include long distance running, bike riding, boating, and spending time with her daughters.
